Visa Requirements

Except for citizens of a restricted number of countries (see below), all other visitors to Indonesia are required to have a valid visa before entrance. A visa can be obtained either at Indonesian Representatives overseas or on arrival at the international airports in the country. Please check the website of the Indonesian Representation in your country or contact Indonesian Representatives for more and up-to-date information.

Free Visa for Short Visit (BVKS) as of 13.04.2010

Based on Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 16/ 2008 on the Second Changing of Presidential Decision No. 18/ 2003, there are 12 countries which accepted by Free Visa for Short Visit (BVKS).

  3. Hong Kong SAR (Special Administration Region)
  4. Macao SAR
  5. Malaysia
  6. Maroco
  7. Peru
  8. Phillipines
  9. Singapore
  10. Thailand
  11. Vietnam
  12. Equador
